It’s Start-Up Season!

Posted: September 10, 2019

It is time for Denver Start Up Week!  A chance to showcase space to a unique audience – that of the Start-up entrepreneur.  Those that dare to take their ideas to a whole new level, just like those of us in the Aerospace industry. Big Dreams start out in small packages.  You will see below some of our Colorado businesses making big moves in the Aerospace and Defense industry

Denver Start Up week is the largest  event in the United States.  It is free and open to the public. You can go here to sign up and create a schedule.  You never know what connections will spark as aerospace intersects with Design, Healthcare, Clean Tech, Data Analytics, Architecture and many other industries and skills.

While you are there, don’t forget to attend these sessions focused on the Aerospace start-up sector. Many of our CSBR members will be participating, such as Bluefoot Engineering, Atomos Space,  and Exodus Space. I will also be representing both CSBR and my own start up Deep Space Predictive.  There will also be a panel on understanding the concept of the New Space Economy with Colorado OEDIT’s Maj General (ret) Jay Lindell and others.

September 17th, 10am, Startup Aerospace and Why Colorado is Leading the Charge
September 18th, Noon, How to Achieve Product Market Fit While Externally  Funding your R&D
September 20th, 8am, The Nuts and Bolts of an Aerospace Startup
September 20th, Noon,  Space a Public (and Private) Affair

A great thing to note as you attend is the number of minority and women owned business in the space start up community as well as the flush of young talent.  We are inspiring the next generation. I hope to see some of you around the way as we celebrate the inclusion of Aerospace in the greater startup community!
